One of the State?s largest and best known lakes, Highland Lake is over three miles in length and 444 acres in area. With nine miles of waterfront most of which is residentialy developed, the lake is often considered the social hub of Winchester. Highland lake offers great boating, fishing, and two beaches for swimming, making it popular with residents, weekenders, and tourists alike.
